yes definitely you can join army after passing your 10th class .
there is difference in joining the army 10th as well as after 12th
after completion of your 10th class a candidates can join army in posts such as

- soldier through indian army soldier general duty exam
- Indian army soldiers clerk/store keeper exam
- Indian army soldier technical exam ...etc

Notification regarding different posts available in all the three major streams in published.
candidates can apply in for the position eligible
selection criteria are normally based on the written tests,if the candidates gets short listed they would be called for a personal interview

Dear friend am sorry to say that your not eligible to join army
the minimum qualification required is 12th
then you can join army as jawan
or
as officer by clearing NDA conducted by UPSC

age should betwen 16.5yrs - 19yrs

With 10th qualification your not eligible for Indian Army academy . You need to complete 12th standard to join in Indian Army . If your complete 12th standard then you may apply for the examination like,

>>> NDA :- National Defence Academy

>>> TES :- Technical Entry Scheme


NDA stands for National Defence Academy . This Examination is conducted by UPSC Union Public Service Commission for every twice . If your aspiring to apply for this examination then you should complete 12th standard in any discipline from recognized university . Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years and relaxation is no relaxation is given for any candidates . You should be unmarried male candidate then . Female candidates are not eligible for NDA Examination .

TES stands for Technical Entry Scheme . If your interested to apply for this examination then you should complete 12th standard in science stream with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics from recognized university . you have score 70% percentage of marks . Your age should be 16.5 years to 19 years . You should be unmarried male candidate .

So , I suggest you to first complete 12th standard then apply any one of the Examination ,NDA / TES .

Army Recruitment board is in every district so you can get the date of Exam for Joining Indian Army..

You can not join Indian Army after passing 10th as the minimum educational qualification for this is 12th by appearing NDA examination.

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC two times every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass from a recognised Board in any stream within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness.

As you are interested for Indian Army and is pursing 10th, so along with your regular studies, you can prepare your self for the NDA exam which can be appeared after 12th.

You can join army after 10th by rally of army in which Indian army selects the candidates and also through invitations which publishes in employment newspaper and local newspaper. Keep studing these and watching the official site of Indian army. In army physical standard must be good,keep attention on your physical standard and sports. But it would be much better if you go for it after 10+2 through NDA examination or Genral duty invitation. Good luck.

CDS

Both exam is give at different time

NDA exam is after complete your 12th science

CDS exam is after complete your graduation

After passing 10th class you will not be able to apply for Indian Army wing..
For that you have to complete the 12th class first..
After completion of 12th class you can appear in NDA exam.. Through that exam you will be able to apply for Indian Army..

Eligibility for NDA exam:--------------------->>

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th class in any trade from a recognized central/state education board.
2.A candidate, who is appearing in 12th class board exam can also apply for the exam.
3.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
4.Candidate should be physically fit..
5.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
So, complete the 12th class first.. After which you can apply for NDA exam..
No such percentage of marks is required.... So, don't need to bother about that..

First of all you have to be eligible for Indian Army and if you are eligible then you have to give the entrance exam. You have to pass the exam with very high percentage because seats are less and candidates are more.
It is not impossible but also not easy. You have to study hard and you should be good in General knowledge and in English.

Visual Standards : The minimum acceptable Visual acuity are : Distant vision (corrected) better eye 6/6, worse eye 6/18. Myopia of not more than minus 5.5 including astogination. Candidates who have undergone or have evidence of having undergone Radial Karatotomy to improve the visual acuity, will be permanently rejected. you cannot join the Indian army on the basis of class X since the minimum eligibility required for selection in Indian army is class XII.

HOWEVER ,one can take admission in the three branches of Indian Defense services namely::

-Indian Army
-Indian Navy
-Indian Airforce


but to get admission through this one needs to be eligible to write this exam ,hence the eligibility criteria is as under:::

ELIGIBILITY(NDA)

-the minimum eligibility required is pass in class XII from a recognized university/board.

-the age should be b/w 16.5 to 19

-for being eligible for Indian Navy and Indian Airforce one needs to have physics+maths as the subjects.

-only male candidates are eligible

-indian citizenship.


if you satisfy the above mentioned criteria then only you are eligible to write the exam.

You can apply after 10th but you will get better placement if you will complete your 10+2 atleast.

Eligibilty For Indian Army:
1. One should passed in 12th

2. Unmarried Male

3. Must be citizen of India.

But if you are graduate, you have more opportunities, you can apply for:

1. CDSE

2. AFCAT

3. USES

4. TGC

You can not join Indian Army after completion of 10th because 12th is compulsory for it.So you have to complete your 12th class with in any of the stream which you want.There are four streams for which you can go after completion of 12th :

1.Arts
2.Commerce
3.Non-Medical
4.Medical

And after completion of 12th you can join Indian Army through NDA entrance exam.NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is an entrance exam which is used to enter into the fields of civil services.




As there are three types of civil services that are comes under NDA.Those civil services are as follows:

1.Indian Army
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Military

And if you want to join for NDA then you must be eligible for it.You have to check the eligibility criteria for it.To check the eligibility criteria,follow the below rules:

1.You must be an Indian.
2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6.
4.You must be physically fit.
5.Girls are not eligible for it.
6.Only unmarried males are eligible for it.
7.Your marks from 12th should be more than 50%.

And if the girls want to join any of the civil service then they can apply after completion of graduation according to the stream in 12th class.

There are lots of graduation courses for which you can go after completion of 12th but you must have more than 50% marks from some recognized university or board.

After completion of graduation,the girls can apply through CDS entrance exam.CDS stands for Combined Defense Services and it is also an entrance exam which is given after completion of graduation to enter into the field of civil services.

Boys and girls both are eligible for CDS.CDS is held as twice in a year.Your age for CDS should lies between 19.5 to 22 years.
