How can we land a job in banking sector after 12th Science followed by Diploma?

Sir, I have completed my 12th from Science stream in 2017 and now I am studying a Diploma course but I want to get into banking sector. So, what could I study to get a good and secure job in banking industry? Any courses or entrance exams?

Yes, since you have completed Diploma after passing 10+2 standard, so you can apply for Bank jobs.

10+2 clerical entrance exams are conducted by banks for recruitment of candidates. You can apply for such exams in which you are eligible as you have completed 10+2 standard.

However, you won't be eligible for those jobs which are offered after graduation. Hence, if you wish to raise your job opportunities in banking sector, then complete graduation by taking lateral entry in bachelor course (as it will save your 1 year).

Then, apply for bank exams like IBPS, SBI Clerical, etc.

I have listed below the bank exams that you can appear after completing graduation.
  • IBPS PO Exam
  • SBI PO Exam
  • Private Banks Exam (like ICICI, etc)
  • IBPS Clerical Recruitment Exam for PSUs
  • SBI Clerical Recruitment Exam
  • CWE for Regional Rural Banks
  • CWE for Specialist Officer

The first thing I would like to let you know that the minimum education required for appearing in any bank examination for recruitment at any post is a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

So, having just completed your Class 12th followed by a diploma course, you are not eligible for appearing in any bank examinations as diploma course is not equivalent to a bachelor's degree course which is must for appearing in banking examinations.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
