Useful tips to crack CPT exam successfully are as follows-

>> To pass the exam, you must get atleast 30% in every subject. This point must be remembered and every subject should be focused equally.

>> Accountacy can be one of the scoring subjects. Hence, start your preparation with theories which would help to solve the problems more easily and quickly.

>> Learn all the laws, topics and definations. Also, Mercantile law is important topic to be thorough with.

>> Macroeconomics would also be scoring topic, complete it and then start microeconomics.

>> Quantitative aptitude consists of Maths. First you must complete all the easy problems and then start difficult ones. Also, make integration and differentiation strong during studies.

>> Do not guess any answer, all the answers should be selected by knowledge and confidence.

>> While pursuing bachelors after 12th, you can also join coaching classes where they give tough practice of CPT syllabus. This will help to clear the exam.

The full form of CPT is Common Proficiency test.

CPT examination is conducted by ICAI and has questions from following subjects:

1. Accountancy.

2. Mercantile law.

3. Economics.

4. Aptitude.

If you are from commerce stream then clearing CPT exam is very easy. You just need to revise 12th syllabus of these subjects and practice previous year questions as much as possible.
