You can do the CA First you can take the C.E.C group in intermediate and pass with 12th with 60%.
After complete intermediate you can do the graduation with B.com stream or any stream. But you can grip on the accounts. Then you write the CPT entrance exam with conducted by the IPCC. This is total processor to do the CA after SSC. All the best. |

To study CA after 10th you have to take MEC group in intermediate which contains mathematics, economics, commerce as subjects. After intermediate you have to write an entrance exam of CA known as CPT. It consists of 200 marks. To qualify in the exam you have to get 100 out of 200. |

Your brother will have to first complete 12th standard. There is no criteria for group. He can take any group he likes but Commerce will be most suitable considering he wants to become Chartered Accountant.
Only after completing 12th standard, your brother will become eligible for the Chartered Accountancy course. The first step after 12th will be Common Proficiency Test. The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is important to get admission for Chartered Accountancy course. It is regarded as the first stage of CA course. You will have to first register for the test and then clear it. Common Proficiency Test is conducted in June and December. There are 4 subjects in the test that are divided into 2 groups. To pass the exam you must score 30 percent marks in each group. Below are the four subjects: 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2. Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude Once your brother clears the Common Proficiency Test he will have to apply for the Integrated Professional Competancy Course. IPCC is second stage of CA course. There are two groups of written tests in the course. You can appear for the first group after 9 months of study after which your brother will have to apply for the 3 years long Articleship. During the Articleship he will also have to clear the second group of written test of IPCC. After that once there are only 6 months left to complete Articleship, he will be eligible for the Final Course. |
