i just completed my b.com 2nd year exam and i want to do cs so please inform me about cource and its scope...

Company Secretary course is professional course which creates people with
the knowledge of corporate laws, security laws and company laws.
A company secretary is always stands at one of the top steps of his/her field.
So a company secretary is an In-house legal expert of the company who connects
company to its board of directors, shareholders and government and regulatory
authorities too.

If you complete the course, there is not at all any problem, finding a job.
As explained above you can imagine how important the position of CS use to be
in a company so remuneration too is very high.

The CS course is conducted by ICSI.
The course comprises of
Foundation Program
Executive Program and
Professional Program

As you are a final year B.Com. student, so you can directly register for Executive Program.
The CS exams are conducted in June and December.
The last date to register for the course for appearing in December term exam, is
30th March of the same year and the last date to register for the course for
appearing June term exam, is 30th September of the previous year.
You should register for the course before the cutoff date so that you could appear
exams on time.
After passing Executive Course you will have to undergo 15 months Practical Training
and after that you can appear Final Program examination.

CS - COMPANY SECRETARY managed and conducted by ICSI(Institute of Company Secretary of India) is a correspondence course and can be pursed in any time of a year.

The CS course is divided in to three parts:-

FOUNDATION PROGRAM-The candidate having completed 12th in any stream is eligible for this Program.

EXECUTIVE PROGRAM-The candidate either having completed Foundation Program or having completed Graduation in any stream is eligible directly for this Program.

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM-The candidate having completed Executive Program is eligible for this Program.

As you are pursing B.Com. final after which you are directly be eligible to get admission to Executive Program.

Apart from this there is a 15 months practical training program which has to be completed before finally certified as Company Secretary by ICSI.

A Company Secretary is supposed to be an expert in Company affairs who is a bridge between the Company authorities with other authorities of Govt. Dept. and other Companies.

Resp.sir,I have registered for C.S Executive. I do not have B.com certificate as I am appearing last year exam in coming April. I am not able to find hall ticket attachment option in site. Hence not able to complete registration process. Please help and reply me in this matter.
