Dear Aspirant, Thats really a good aim to do MTech in the IIT's infact selecting a right IIT is another appreciation for you. But getting seat in the IIT Bombay is a tougher task. But not if you get a top AIR in Gate . So after getting seat in the IIT Bombay you can do any course related to the AE. We cannot say the courses because you may fix to that course itself. What am i trying to say is that by the end of the final year in your BE. You can get a idea in which field you are perfect by that you can select the specialization in the Mtech. So you are the person who should select the right course.Getting guidance from us is a good thing but dont risk on your career. Choose wisely and getting education from the IIT's itself can fetch you a good job in the companies you mentioned. Do any course and get good marks without having any backlogs then am sure the companies will be at back of you for hiring you. Hope this info helps you. All the best for your future endeavor's. Any more Queries. Don't Hesitate to ask me. Am happy to help you always. Just ping to my profile. Best Regards, Sampath. |

As you are in second year of B.Tech course and want to pursue M.Tech after completing B.Tech so I want to tell you that you can continue your higher studies like M.Tech in only that specialization in which you are pursuing B.tech. As you are pursuing B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering so after completing B.Tech you can apply for M.Tech course in only aeronautical engineering. In order to apply for M.Tech course you have to appear in GATE exam. GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This exam is conducted by the 7 IITs and Indian Institute of Science , Bangalore. This exam is conducted for the selection of candidates for admission in M.Tech course in IITs and IISc. Now a days GATE exam is also useful for those candidates who want to get job in Public Sector companies like ONGC, IOCL, NTPC etc. Because now PSUs recruit candidates on the basis of GATE score. Eligibility Criteria for GATE:- 1)- You should have completed your B.tech/B.E. degree in any stream from a recognized university. 2)- Final Year candidates can also apply for GATE exam. 3)- You should not have any pending backlog. 4)- You can apply for GATE exam in only that specialization in which you have completed B.Tech degree. |
