Eligibility Criteria
Do you need 16 years of education in India before you go for a Masters degree in the US?

As mentioned earlier, literally anybody can do higher education (by higher education I mean Masters and the Ph.D) or what is known as "the graduate studies" in the US. Most universities say that they need 16 years of education to become eligible for graduate studies. So, anyone with 10+2+ a four year degree or a three year degree + diploma or a post graduation are eligible to go to the US.

However, as I mentioned, The US universities are known for their flexibility.

So, if you can convince the academic panel that you have it in you what it takes for someone to do the Masters or a Ph.D, they will be only glad to accept you. I personally know over 25 students who went to US after 15 years of education. While 16 years is straight forward, you need to put in a bit more work to go after 15 years (i.e. 10+2+ a three year degree).

There is no big deal in doing MS from USA.

The Eligibility criteria for MS from USA are:

Literally anybody can do higher education or what is known as "the graduate studies" in the US. Most universities say that they need 16 years of education to become eligible for graduate studies.

Choose the Right University

1) Identify the universities that match perfectly with your background
2)Build an application package that convinces that you will study with them
3)Provide scores, recommendations that convince them that you are capable
of being a very good student in the university.

GRE

The GRE revised General Test gives you the Power of Confidence to help you do your best. With the GRE revised General Test, you decide which scores to send to schools. If you feel you didn't do your best on test day, that's okay. You can retake the test and then send only the scores you want schools to see.

The GRE revised General Test features question types that closely reflect the kind of thinking you'll do in graduate or business school.

Verbal Reasoning — Measures your ability to analyze and evaluate written material and synthesize information obtained from it, analyze relationships among component parts of sentences and recognize relationships among words and concepts.

Quantitative Reasoning — Measures problem-solving ability, focusing on basic concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and data analysis.

Analytical Writing — Measures critical thinking and analytical writing skills, specifically your ability to articulate and support complex ideas clearly and effectively.

Good Luck for your bright Future.......

MS mostly is preferred by most of the students after completion of the degree .
B.tech students also prefer the most.

You can do MS in USA by getting the GRE score of 1100 and above for 1600 and one more important thing to remember is you need to complete your education for example if you have any backlog then clear it first and then you can proceed
if you have studied you degree then if you have good percentage then you will be alloted good university in the U.S.

Good Luck for your future.
