Being a civil engineer, you have good job opportunities in railways. You have chances for jobs in construction and maintenance department in railways. You can apply for positions like Project engineer, construction engineer, project engineer, maintenance engineer etc. in railways. You will have to appear for written exam by railway recruitment board. On clearing this exam, you will be called for personal interview too.

Hello..

After completing Civil Engineering you have to look for the daily news employment news for the railway recruitment board advertisement for the CIVIL ENGINEERING jobs in railway.

If you find any vacancy then just go to any book depot and get the form fill it, after month you will be provide with the call letter cum hall ticket for the entrance in the exam hall. clear the written exam which is followed by the interview and there you are with the railway job.

The jobs in railway are provided by the RRB Railway Recruitment Board.

There is three way to take a job in railway after completion of engineering...
If you are completed engineering in diploma then you can fill the form of JE every year recruit Indian railway ..
If you are degree holder then you can go in railway throug ...GATE..
Indian Engineering Service .
And also with SSC or Railway recruit every year ...

Is it necessary for civil engineering freshers to qualify gate for the entrance in railway jobs?
