You can try for a PSU job by clearing GATE. Now there are lot of trainee level vacancies in firms like GAIL, NTPC and IOCL. IES exam can also be attended by electrical engineers. Specialist Officer jobs in banks are especially meant for professionals. State government also offers adequate opportunities in state electricity boards and other technical sections.

Since you have already completed your Electrical engineering, you can apply for the below exams to get the Government Jobs:


Engineering services exams:
This exam is conducted by UPSC
Eligibilty to apply is BE/BTECH PASS
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
Next Exam would be held on 28th june 2013

SSC Combined Graduate Level exams:
Eligibilty is Graduation pass
Age between 18 to 27 years
Next exam is on 14th and 21st April 2013
Last date to apply is 15th February 2013

BSNL JTO exams:
This exam is conducted by BSNL
Eligibilty to apply is BE/BTECH PASS
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
Next Exam notification has not been announced.

PSU Companies:
To apply for the PSU companies , you need to give the GATE exams conducted by IIT
GATE scores are required to apply for Jobs in PSU companies.
GATE exam would be held in january 2013
Eligibilty to apply is BE/BTECH PASS
