To get admission in DTU, you have to scored 60 percent or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematcs only then you will be eligible for admission to the frst semester of the Bachelor of Technology Course. And 85% quota are for delhi students and rest 15% quota are availiable for, outside delhi students to get admission in DTU. DELHI TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY: There are 14 B.Tech programmes on offer this year with a total intake of 910 seats, where 85% seats will be reserved for Delhi category students and 15% for Outside Delhi category. eligibility The admission to both Delhi and outside Delhi categories will be on the basis of rank obtained in the AIEEE-2010 examination(if you opt for next year then it will be AIEEE 2011). Those who have passed XIIth class or B.Sc. (General) or B.Sc. (Hons.) examination with minimum 60% marks in PCM are eligible to apply for the B.Tech. programmes of DTU. M.Tech. programmes will be available in 17 disciplines with 306 seats for the full-time courses and 45 seats offered on the part-time basis. eligibility:- Besides having secured minimum 60% marks in the prescribed qualifying examination, you need to have a valid GATE score to secure admission in a full-time M.Tech. programme. if you are applying for the part-time course, need not to have GATE score but should be employed with minimum one-year experience at the time of admission. PhD programmes at DTU are available in following departments: Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Environmental Engineering, Polymer Science and Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Humanities and Management eligibility:- M.E./ M.Tech. degree in the appropriate branch with minimum 60% marks. i have enclosed prospectus 2010 |

can you please name the colleges that come under DTU? will the student who has done 10th from delhi but 12th standard from outside get admissions in 85% of the reserved seats or 15% reserved seats?

Admissions to B.Tech courses in Delhi Technological University are done on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). 85% of the seats offered at DTU for the B.E. programme are reserved for the Delhi region candidates passing from Schools / Colleges / Institute located within the NCT of Delhi. The remaining 15% seats are acoounted for by the students from the Outside Delhi region.
The University offers Post Graduate programme both Full Time and Part Time in 9 disciplines. Admission to the Full Time courses is offered through the GATE examination |
