Hi, I am Aarcha Biju from Kerala. I am second year B.Com student and I wish to join in Indian Army. Am I eligible for getting job in Indian Army? At which post can I get into Army and how can I apply being in Kerala? What about Indian Navy?

You can join Indian Army or Indian Navy through CDS exam that is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

Since, you are currently in 2nd year of graduation so you are not eligible for this exam. However, you can apply for CDS exam when you are in final year of graduation course.

Through CDS exam, you can join anyone of the following academies.

• Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
• Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala
• Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying)
• Officer's Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)

If you are looking for posting in Kerala, then better you go with joining Indian Naval Academy.
