You have to give exam for BHEL. every year BHEL conduct its exam once or twice in a year. BHEL has its exam in the month of november and it will again advertise for its exam in the newspaper as well as on its website so keep checking its website.

you will have to appear in the exam conducted by BHEL time to time for a Management Trainee for every stream including you sector.

after completing b.tech, you should write the bhel entrance exam, its is announced in the news paper or u can see in the www.freshersworld.com website

If you are from any of the top 20 engineering colleges you should be lucky enough to have BHEL as one of your recruiters. Otherwise you must apply at their website. Regular advertisements are provided by BHEL,NTPC,IOCL and other core companies in the top newspapers such as "JOBS Telegraph".In this time of reccession there has been a tendency for students to shift to the core engineering sector and if you hav the basic knowledges in place it shouldnt be difficult for you to get a job in these core companies as they are looking for people with skill and sound technical knowwledge.

Bhel Needs Engneers in mechanical branch, We can apply for the Jobs in Bhel By satisfying the following criteria........

Education Criteria: Full time BE or B.Tech Degree in Mechanical, Civil,Electrical & Electronics,Chemical discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate for general / OBC candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates. (Excluding the sessional marks)

The pattern of BHEL placement paper for mechanical engineering is given below.

There are 240 questions in the paper. Out of 240 120 are Technical and other 120 are Aptitude & General English questions. There is a negative marking of 1/5th mark for each wrong answer. Five options are given for each question of which only one is correct.
The questions are very simple in Aptitude section and can be answered well if practiced well. Time management is an important factor as you have to answer 240 questions in 150 minutes.
