12th pass outs are eligible for applying only for State Bank of India Clerical Exam..

A candidate must have the following minimum qualifications for appearing for the exam :-

1) The candidate must have secured at least 55% in class 12th..

2)The candidate must also be within the age limit of 17-28 years for appearing for the exam..

If you have passed 12th, then you must have applied for State Bank Of India Assistant and Stenographers post.

Anyways, the exam is on 3rd june, 2012. One exam is already over on 27th May, 2012.

If you have not applied you should apply for SBI Clerical exam next year.

Since you are a 12th pass student, so you can only apply for posts like clerk, assistants etc.

The basic educational qualification required for SBI clerical exam is a pass in 12th exam with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM, the minimum marks is 55%.

The minimum age requirement for General category is 18 to 28 years.
For SC/ST, It is 18 to 33 years.
For OBC, it is 18 to 31 years.
For PWD , it is 18 to 38 years.

If you are going to give the exam on 3rd June,then I have to say that to prepare within 3 days for SBI is next to impossible.

Bank exam preparation needs a lots of practice and hard work + dedication which is I think not possible within 3 days even if you study 24 hours per day.

2. And Practice, Practice and Practice.

Yes, according to your academic qualification, you are eligible for applying State Bank of India's Clerical examination. But your age should be not less than 17 (that you are already,I hope so) and age upto 28 is limit. But as you not mentioned here the percentage, though 60% is necessary for general candidate and 55% for SC/ST.

If you are a 12th pass candidate, then the ONLY SBI Job for you is State Bank of India Clerical Exam. As you may know that SBI is the top bank in India and also its the first Indian Bank to feature in the top 100 banks of the world list. So a lot of candidates wish to take part in it.

SBI Clerical is held only once in a year. So you have to be well prepared then. Also there is news that SBI is going to recruit 19000 Clerks this year. So its quite a vacancy which you can target. I would provide you with the BASIC Eligibility Criteria :-

1. Minimum 12th pass from a recognized college or university with over 55% aggregate.
2. Your age should be within 18-28 years as in the year of applying.

This exam is not that tough. It would question you on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Also on Marketing and Computer Knowledge. This would be consisting of 200 questions which you must solve in 120 minutes. Total marks would be out of 200 only.

So you have to be real fast in your calculations. Once you can through with the written exam, then you would have to wait for a month of two for the results to be out. If you get through this exam, then you would be called for the Interview.

Hello Aspirant,

At present there is no provision of getting job in any bank on the basis of 12th pass.You are required to have graduation in order to write exam either for clerk or for probationary officer in SBI.

For rest of the banks job in India,There is a IBPS i.e Institute of personnel banking selection,which conducts an eligibility test for banks clerks & probationary officer post.

So first of all complete your graduation & appear for IBPS or exam for SBI

Soon after the completion of 12th class, you are not eligible to get job opportunity not only in SBI but also in any of the public sector bank as the minimum academic qualification that is required to apply for Bank jobs was changed to Graduation.
