I want to get the NCC 'B' certificate. How can I get it? What would I have to do? How can I join NCC as a private candidate? How much will take to get the NCC 'B' certificate after joining NCC?

You need to enroll yourself in NCC in your respective college.
Attend one NCC camp within one and a half years of joining NCC.
You are eligible to apply for B certificate. NCC will take an exam for B certifica.

To join NCC, you need to be enrolled in an Educational institution.
Only if your institution don't have an NCC unit, you can apply as an open cadet.
You can avail training from institutions that already have NCC sub-units, you need to approach the commanding officer of nearest NCC unit for further guidance.
