Re: How to be an IAS after doing B.Tech IT
Graduates in any subject can apply for the position of IAS Officer. There will be two stages for selection, prelims and mains. Prelims section is conducted as a written test covering questions on general aptitude, Indian Constitution, Indian Polity, etc. Main exam is based on the optional subject selected. Details can be collected from UPSC portal. Preparation can be done with the help of reference books. Upkar, S. Chand, etc are some of the common book publishers.
