-Be strong enough in subject knowledge regarding the topic which you are going to present.

It is true that after seeing a neat and tidy paper teachers are tempted to give more marks. Here are some points & tips for you:

1.

Go well prepare to the exam center with with pens of the same type and
colour, properly sharpened pencils(I'd prefer pen pencils), long
transparent long-ruler(don't use opaque ones),a small ruler will also
come handy.Use a nice and well-tested compass. Don't use brand new pens,
use them a little bit before exams.

As soon as you get the answer sheet, don't waste any time.Draw lines
before the margin & after the margin with a space of 1cm.Also draw lines on
right side with a gap of 1cm.

3.

Write the main Q.no. on the top left, sub-Q.no to the left of margin ans the
number to the right of the margin.

4.

During maths paper draw the trigonometric table before getting question
paper, on the back-side of answer paper.

5.

Make sure you write with the same handwriting throught the paper.

6.

Always do rough work in the back-side of the paper with pencil.
Never do rough work beside the answer.

7.

Make sure that your diagrams are neithre too small nor too big.

8.

Remember you dont need a legendary handwriting to impress the teacher.
Write as good as you can but without compromising speed of you will lag
behind.

presentation is a important part in securing good marks in the exam. The answers paper will be corrected within a short duration of time so it is necessary that you need to present your answers in such a way that they find it easy to correct your papers.
Give your answers in points. Do not write stories answer to the question. Key points can be highlited by using black pen. Do not use any other color pen except blue and black. Put sketches where ever necessary. Answers all the questions under a title continuously . Give side heading for big questions. Maintain uniform gap between two words and two lines. Underline important key words. Avoid overwriting , if you have written wrongly strike it only once and not more than that. If you follow this you will surely get more marks that you are getting now as presentation yields you more marks. You need to show them that you know answer for the questions.

You should prepare your presentation without silly mistakes like spelling mistakes, unwanted full stops and commas.
