i am first year it student.i want to improve my aptitude skills.now,i am learning rs.agarwal book.other than that i want to increase my aptitude skill.

R.S Agarwal Book is quite a good reference book for this area. You need to solve as many problems possible from them. You need to make sure that you understand the concept on how to solve the papers. At the end of the book there are many questions papers which you must solve. There will be improvement if you practise sufficient problems.

R.S Aggarwal is a very nice book and it contains a huge collection of questions from every possible topic in aptitude.

You just need to practice it, ANALYZE it, the reasoning given for each question, how they are solved, and by the gradual time you would develop a very good understanding and reasoning ability.

You can improve your aptitude skill by understanding the basic concepts. And by using a tricky way to solve your question.
Brush up the basic mathematics of class 9th and class 10th. It will help you a lot.

Try to solve question without looking at the solution and without using the calculator because in a entrance exam you can not use calculator.

Memorise the square and cube of numbers 1,2,3......20.

And do lot of practice.......as it will help in increasing your speed and also in generating your own skill to solve the question.

Practice R.S.Aggrawal aptitude book. Solve sudoku. Solve math puzzle.
