How to join CBI after B.Tech?


I M DOING MY B.Tech FROM NIRMA UNIVERSITY IN ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION FIELD. I AM IN 2nd YEAR OF ENGINEERING.

I AM VERY MUCH INTERESTED IN THE DEPARTMENTS WHICH ARE RELATED TO INVESTIGATION. I JUST WANT TO KNOW HOW CAN I BECOME THE CBI OFFICER ?
PLEASE SUGGEST ME.

Hello Friend,

Procedure to join CBI - ( 5 Stages )

1. Written test,
2. Physical tests,
3. Medical tests,
4. Group tests and
5. Personal Interview.


Eligibility For CBI exam are as follows: -

1. Pass graduation in any subject or in any engineering stream or equivqlent from a recognised institute / university.

2. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years
for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

3. Nationality - Indian

NOTE: - Final year appearing candidates can also apply for CBI exam.

CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation)
Eligibility Criteria:-To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum Qualification is Graduation in any Discipline.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.

Eligibility for UPSC
1. Citizenship :

A Candidate must be either :-

A citizen of India, or

A subject of Nepal, or

A subject of Bhutan, or

A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malavi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam. or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.


. Age Limits : The age limit for the post has been given in the advertisement. For certain age concessions admissible to various categories please go through instruction No. 5.

3. Minimum Educational Qualifications : All applicants must fulfil the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement.

They are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for various posts. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.

Note - I : The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

Note - II : Where the number of applications received in response to an advertisement is large and it will not be convenient or possible for the Commission to Interview all the Candidates, the Commission at their discretion may restrict the number of Candidates, to a reasonable limit by any or more of the following methods :

On the basis of either qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement; or

On the basis of experience in the relevant field; or

By counting experience before or after the acquisition of essential qualifications; or

By holding a screening test.
The candidate should, therefore, mention all the qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications and should attach attested/self certified copies of the Certificates including mark-sheets in support there of.

Note - III : In regard to Educational Qualifications, only the mark-sheets in lieu of Educational Certificates will not be accepted by the Commission.

Note - IV : The provisional claim what so ever in regard to eligibility to the post will not be accepted by the Commission.

you can join CBI through
1.IPS... Indian police service,
through UPSC civil services exam, also famously known as IAS exam
2. state Police sevice.. like BPSC GPSC
etc

all the above selected officers may get deputation in CBI
and for non officer rank
there is CBI exam through sub-inspectors etc are selected.

You can join CBI through combined graduate level examination. Staff selection commission conducts the CGL exam every. Minimum qualification required for CGLE-
Graduation in any stream from a recognised institution or university
Age limit-
18 to 27 years
Upper age relaxations provides by the commission as per the govt rules and regulations.
The notification is mainly published in the month of feb- march every year. So I suggest you to completes your degree first and then apply through this exam to join CBI as an inspector or sub-inspector.

definately, you can join CBI after B.Tech.

to join in CBI, you have to give UPSC exam.

as minimum qualification graduation in engineering is require to attain in the UPSC exam.

and minimum 60% marks in Engineering is require to attain in the upsc exam.

age limit for UPSC exam is 21-29 years.

friend as you need to complete B.tech first as still you are in 2nd year..

To become a CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission conducted by Government of India.

Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
Age Should be Between 20-25 years
(relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.)


physical requirements you need to fulfill
height minimum --165 cm
and chest -- 76 cms
vision -6/6

examination consist of 4 stages and you need to clear all.

Selection Procedure :
-Selection based on Written Test,
- Personal Interview and
-According to Rule and Regulation of the Govt of India.

Plan of the Examination:
Part I

Written Examination carrying: 400 marks

Part II

Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks.

Examination Subjects:
(Paper No. Subject Questions Max. Marks Duration)

Paper-I General Test
General Intelligence and Reasoning 50
General Awareness 75 200 2 hours
Numerical Ability 75

Paper-II English Language
Language Comprehension
Communication/Writing 200 2 hours
Ability Test

physical requirements you need to fulfill

CBI post are:
1. Sub-Inspector,
2. Assistant Public Prosecutor and (graduation in law required)
3. Senior Public Prosecutor (SPP).(graduation in law required)
