i want to know in detail about how to join Indian Armed Force ,as i have a very strong feeling to Join Indian Army.

Graduates (Direct Entry)

The UPSC holds an all-India competitive examination, known as the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE), twice a year for University graduates or equivalent. Successful candidates can join Indian Military Academy for their pre- commission training after the interview conducted by the Service Selection Board and if finally selected, depending on their merit list ranking, are sent to Indian Military Academy. Candidate should be in the age of 19-24

I am r.balaji, i have bachelors degree on information technology with working experience of one and half years from HCL as technical support (networking).i am passionate about joining indian army unfortunately i won't be able to fulfill physical requirement as i am shorter i want to know how to be a part of indian army and support from back end!

HOW MANY JOBS AVALIBLE IN indian army FOR information technology COMPLETION student?

After completion of B.Tech in IT you can join Indian Army through following entries :

• CDS ( Combined Defence Service Exam )
• TGC ( Technical Graduate Courses )
• UES ( University Entry Scheme )

CDS exam is conducted by Union Public Service commission twice a year.
To apply for this exam candidate must have completed his/her graduation degree from any recognised university in any discipline.
Age of candidate must be from 19 to 24 years.

Selection procedure :

Written Examination
Interview

UES entry is for final year candidates.
Age of candidate must be from 19 to 25 years for final year students and 18 to 24 for pre final year students.
Candidate must be Unmarried.
Candidate have to appear for pre-SSB and after passing in pre-SSB candidate will have to appear for direct SSB Interview.
There is no written exam in UES entry.

TGC Entry is only for engineering graduates. Candidate who have completed his BE /B.Tech in notified streams can only apply for this entry.
Age of candidate must be from 20 to 27 years.

yes u can join india army by writing NDA entrance it is held twice a year i.e. In september as well as may. It is six hours exam consists of english, maths ,physics, chemistry and biology.
