It is Good to see that you are Interested in Indian Army after completing your 10th examination, But after 10th examination you will not Join Indian Army as a Officer, you will get a job as a soldier. So, i have suggest you please complete your 12Th examination and then apply for NDA Examination.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year and only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA. If you have crossed the age of 19 years, then you cant eligible for NDA.

To apply for Army wings of NDA, you have to complete your 12Th examination in any stream from a recognised Board. Final Year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA.

The selection in NDA Examination is based on written test followed by Personal Interview and Medical test. NDA Examination is comprises of a Written Exam followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test, The written exam consist of two papers :

~~ Mathematics and
~~ General Ability Test

The General Ability Test consists of : English and General Knowledge. the papers in all the subjects consist of Objective type questions only.

If you cracked all these stages, then you are eligible for NDA Training.

You are not eligible to appear for NDA exam after 10th as the minimum educational qualification to apply for NDA is 12th.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with a good Physical and Mental health, can apply for Indian Army of NDA.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

According to education qualification,different defense service exam are conducted that are NDA exam and CDS exam.

National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream.

Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibility for CDS examination:

Educational Qualifications:
For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.
For Air Force Academy: B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering.

Age:

For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years
For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years
For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years

Based on 10th Qualification you are not eligible to join Indian Army. To join Indian Army you need to pass 12th standard. After completing 12th standard you can join Indian Army by giving NDA Entrance Examnation.

NDA :- National Defence Academy

National Defence Academy entrance examination is conducted by Union Public Service(UPSC) twice in a year. Through NDA Exam you can join following defence wings..

:-Indian Army

ELIGIBILITY for NDA EXAM:

You should be 12th passed from recognized central/state board of education.
Or
You can also apply while appearing for 12th standard.

PHYSICAL STANDARD for NDA:

Height: Minimum 157 cm

Eye standard: Without glasses better eye 6/6 and worse 6/9

There is no possibility for you to join Indian Army just after passing 10th .

the criteria that you have to follow if you want to join Indian Army are mentioned below :

* You must have completed your Higher Secondary (12th) from any recognized board with physics,chemistry and maths as your key subjects.

* You should be Indian Citizen.

there is no percentage criteria to join indian army

you should remember for technical post in army you should degree of B.TECH with at least 60% aggregate

and,

with qualification as 10th pass you can only apply for the post of soldier in army only


it is better to complete your 12th first with PCM subjects only

with this you can apply for army with the help of NDA exam

Eligibility criteria for NDA :::

1. Candidate must have Indian Citizenship.
   
2. Candidates should be passed 12 examination with Maths , Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjecs.

4. Age should be between 16 and half to 19 years.
