Sir, I have completed my 12th with Commerce stream. I have secured 44% marks. I want to get job in Indian Police Services. So, I would like to know that how I can join Indian Police Services? Please let me know immediately.

To join Indian Police Service, you are required to qualify the Civil Services held by UPSC once every year.

* Further, the minimum qualifications required to appear in the same examination is as below :-

i) You must be an Indian citizen.

ii) Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years. Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

iii) You must have completed your graduation degree course in any discipline from a recognized university.

iv) You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms.

So, having completed your Class 12th, you are first required to complete your graduation degree course and then qualify the Civil Services examination to join Indian Police Service.

To join Indian Police Services after completion of your 12th standard with Commerce stream with 44% aggregate marks, you have to pursue Bachelor’ degree course in any discipline from a recognised university. You should be in the age range of 21 to 32 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. After completion of your Bachelor’s degree course from a recognised university, you are eligible to apply for Indian Police Services.
