How to join in ISRO ? What is the study for to join in isro

You have to acquire anyone of the following degree from a good institute like IIT or IISC or IIST (most suitable). Thats because it has been seen that students from these Institute get plenty of oppurtunities to get there, and also there way becomes easy so far.


P.hd (Astro physics).
P.hd (Geophysics).
P.hd (Metaphysics) I mean to say any branch of physics which leads to space science,these are few examples.

You can persue these degrees from IIT's or IISc, after acquiring these degrees from there you can appear for entrance conducted by ISRO at national level for recruiting Astronauts,Scientists, Appentice etc. but only best one can able to appear and crack it. You can also work with our country's ISRO various entrance are cionducted by ISRO for recruiting Scientists and engineers for carrying Space reasearch or various jobs related to R & D.

I think there is a institution in kerala which belongs to ISRO u just ve to clear IIT-JEE with d appropriate % and they will take admit you and also u will be workin in ISRO fr two years aft ur course duration...all d best..

ISRO conducts exams for scientist and engineer post as you have not mentioned what you really want to prepare so
for scientist in computer department they include the syllabus as follows

ISRO has Annual Intake of Engineers and Scientist

even though there is specific exam for the intake for the same

they highly depend on the merit of the student than the degrees completed by the candidate

so you should understand one thing clearly that you have to be a good knowledgable person in your subject regard

And the general steps you have to remember to reach your desired goal is ..

->you have to complete your b.tech with good percentage i.e., 65% atleast (preferably 75-80%)

->Go for Coaching if you're financial position is strong(Not Cumpulsary) so that not only you get coaching you can be exposed to many factors like difficulty level of question,national wide competition for the same exam..and so on it will be good if you do so..

->As usual after getting well groomed with the coaching you can confidently attempt the exam..

->Then after that you have to give good performance in the interview too.

By these simple steps you can make into your dream..

How to make it to ISRO

Hi friend,

I am happy to know that , you want to join such a respectable organization.

see, there are many people with different qualification doing different works at ISRO as it is a very big organization.

It's up to you, which kind of work you want to pursue at ISRO. You should have mention it here.

Following are the fields of study from which you can get into ISRO:-

-B.E/B.Tech

-M.E/M.tech

-PH.D

-For above three , you need to appear for common entrance exam , that is conducted every year by ISRO. Eligibility is 70% aggregate in each of above course

-After 12th , you can join IIST , this institute is wholly owned by ISRO, and ISRO selects lit of candidate from this institute every year.

-M.SC

To join in ISRO , you need to complete your graduation in engineering field at least.

After completion of BE/B.tech course you can apply for ISRO..

ISRO conduct a written test for recruiting technical students every year.

Eligibility for ISRO exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field.

2.Candidate must have secure 60% aggregate through out the career.

3.Candidates age should not be more than 35 years.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill to appear in that written test.

So, try to complete your graduation in engineering field.

For getting into ISRO, you need a masters degree or a P.hD degree(more appreciated) from a recognized class college like IITs, IIsc(Indian institute of science), or IIST(Indian institute of space science technology).
After M.tech, if you have an experience in the relevant R&D department, then also you'll be having a nice chance to get into one of the finest organization of the world.
