Being a student of 11th class, you are now not eligible to apply for NDA as the minimum academic qualification for NDA is 12th standard along with other eligibility criteria.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY, the entrance exam for whichis conducted by UPSC two times every year as NDA-I and NDA-II to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male only. He should have either appeared for or pass the final 12th exam from a recognised Board. He should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental physique.

As you have Mathematics in 11th standard and must have Physics and Chemistry as subject of studies, you are eligible to apply for all the wing of NDA but candidate having without the above subject is only eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA.

Being a student of 11th standard, you can start your preparation accordingly with an aim to crack NDA and after 12th you can apply for NDA.

No, if you are pursuing your 11th standard, then you are not allowed to apply for NDA (National Defence Academy), you can apply for this examination only when you are pursuing your final year 12th examination or after completing your Intermediate examination.

On the basis of pursuing, you can apply for NDA Examination provisionally.

Notification of NDA Examination gets published twice in a year in the employment newspaper OR in the official website of UPSC. You can apply for this examination many times between the age eligibility. There is no restrictions in number of attempts to apply for NDA.

Only unmarried male candidates can apply for NDA Examination. No female candidates are eligible to be applicable.

The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no any upper age relaxation for any caste.

The main aim of NDA Examination is to recruit aspirants to the following wings :-
• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

If you have chosen Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level, then you can apply for all the 3 wings of NDA, but you have to give your preference at the time filling online application form.

But to enter into NDA, you have to appear and crack each one of the following stages of Examination :-
• Written Test
• Interview (SSB Interview)
• Medical Test

Notifications gets published in December and April every year. So, when you are pursuing your Final exam of 12th standard, you can apply for NDA. You must be physically and mentally fit to apply for this examination.

When you crack each one of the stages of examination, then you are eligible for the Training. The written test is objective with negative marking and if you crack the written examination then your chances of being selected is more. So, prepare well for the examination.
