There are two types of job category in merchant navy. Here below are details regarding job categories in merchant navy:-

Categories in Merchant Navy:-

1). Technical category.

2). Non Technical category.

1). Technical Category:- Under technical profession categories are:-

:- Radio Officer.

:- Captain.

:- Marine engineer.

:- Navigation expert.

:- Nautical engineer.

2). Non Technical Category:- Under non technical profession categories are:-

:- Chefs.

:- First mate.

:- Able body seamen.

:- Second mate.

:- Barber.

Salary Offered in Merchant Navy:-

>> Salary offered for technical job category is Rs:- 35,000 to Rs:- 75,000/- per month.

>> Salary offered for non technical job category is Rs:- 25,000 to Rs:- 50,000/- per month.
