I am Trilok Kaswala,studying in diploma electrical engineering from R.C technical institute ahmedabad (G.T.U).I have already compleated my second semester,but I have one question, How many semester's average marks including in degree from diploma in (G.T.U)? I want to say that How can i get admission in degree electrical engineering? please reply must, and tell me it's in brief because of my aknowlegment.please give the answer of my question, I am in a big trouble, because I don't no how to get admission in degree and How much qualification is want for that (admission in degree electrical engineering).

From third semester to sixth semester diploma marks will be considered for degree admissions. Usually the university you need to join conducts a lateral entry examination for testing your eligibility. 60% is the minimum marks required for as the average of your marks from third to sixth semester. You can directly join to third semester in degree, if you passed in the lateral entry test. There are certain universities which provide admissions to third semester with out any test. Hope you get a clear idea. Thank you.

my question is how many subjects for deploma to degree student in third semester in electrical engineering. if any extra sub for D to D student wll have qulaify in third semester.

friend i have to tell you something...
if u r studying in collage which approved and connected by gtu...
when u see yr result in website of gtu. there are 3 fields are presents in bottom of your result that is SPI, CPI and ACPC CPI,
o.k.?
then in it, which is field name CPI, is displays your average points of all semesters.
from base of it, you will get admission in degree after diploma...
if it is more than 8, then you have a chance to take an admission for degree in any area od gujarat...
and if it is less than 8, den you have to take an admission in collages which is out of gujarat...

hello, i m student of 2008 batch and i have completed my diploma in computer. from 1 to 5 sem i had scored good marks without any ATKT but due to some reason got ATKT in one subject in 6th sem (april 2011). which i cleared in dec 2011 and passed successfully. but now i want to get admission in degree and want to know that are there any rules for ATKT??? so plz give me proper advice... thank you...

all semesters'marks are important to take admission into degree because your aggregate (overall %age)marks of diploma are get into counted for admission into degree.
