CAT stands for Common Admission Test. This entrance exam is for Master of Business Administration course. The Common Admission Test is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management under a rotation policy.
Common Admission Test is the most popular entrance exam for MBA. Indian Institutes of Management are the finest business schools in the country. Every MBA aspirant want admission in IIM. However those who do not get admission in IIMs need not to worry because there are several other good colleges that also offer admission for MBA courses through the Common Admission Test. This list include both government and private colleges. Apart from the IIMs, NITs, IITs and IISc also offer admission via CAT. The Common Admission Test is only conducted once a year. It is actually conducted during a period of 21 days. You can choose the date and time according to your comfort. To appear for the Common Admission Test you have to first register for it. To register you will first have to buy the CAT voucher which is made available at selected branches of Axis Bank. Please note that not all the branches will have CAT vouchers therefore please check the list of branches and find the closest one from your residence. Alternatively you can also get e-voucher. Just submit basic information online like your name, address, phone, email etc. After which you will have to make the payment online through debit/credit card. It is not necessary to use your own credit/debit card. You can use of a friend or family member. Upon successfully making the payment, you will soon get a voucher code. This code is required to register for Common Admission Test. When you will start the online registration process, first this code will be asked. First you will simply register as memeber on the CAT website and after which you will go to your account and give complete details like what course you have completed. Which course are you applying for etc. The registration for the Common Admission Test is currently underway. You can register for the CAT till September 26, 2013. CAT Eligibility 1. You should have completed graduation. 2. Final year students are also eligible. 3. Must have 50 percent marks in graduation. 4. SC/ST need 45 percent mark. 5. There is no relaxation for OBC. |

CAT exam every year only one time will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management. Every year october and november month that exam will be conducted. The acronym of CAT stands for Common Aptitude Test.The CAT exam will be conducted once in every year by the Indian Institute of Management. **Eligibility Criteria :- To appear for the CAT exam,you must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. cat stands for common admission test, it is conducted by iim's for admission for master of business administration course(mba) cat is conducted once in a year, it is conducted for almost 21 days, students have to select their time & date of exam according to their flexibility, those who want to go for iim they try cat for entry in iim, there is some eligiblity factor for appearing in cat exam : must be completed graduation from a recognized university must have scored minimum 50% in graduation 5% relaxation for sc/st students no upper age limit for applying no relaxation for obc students so those who want ot go for iim they should try cat and those who are unable to make it for iim they have another options like : 1. mat 2.atma 3.xat etc good luck |

CAT is a common admission test to get admissions in to IIMs. Validity of CAT score is one year. Also there is no any restriction on attending exam. Any number of time you can attend the exam. Eligibility : - You must be completed graduation from any recognized university with any discipline and your graduation marks must be in above 50% but for SC/ST candidate , this percentage is above 45%. - There is no any age limit to apply. If you want to get admissions in to IIM then you must score more than 96 percentile. Then only you are having chance to get admissions in to top IIMs. Also your performance in the interview should be good. If you scored less than 90 percentile in CAT exam, then you are having a chance to get admissions in top business schools in India. Eligibility And Criteria :- A candidate who have completed their Graduation Degree in any discipline from the Recognized Universities are eligible for this exam..... A candidate must have secure at least 50% or Aggregate marks in their Graduation study if they belong to the General category but, if they belong to the SC/ST category then they can apply with 45% also..... Final year graduation degree students also eligible for this exam.... There is no any age criteria... There is no restriction for attempts in CAT Exam... A candidate must be an Indian....
