There are so many exams for merchant navy like physical exam written exam interview etc........

There are a lot of exams conducted for merchant navy, as per your qualifications like after +2,after graduation & after any engg degree.
you can apply for it as per your qualification,time to time many vacancies are recruited for such type of job, so exams are conducted. you can follow employement news regularly so you can know about current exam for merchant nevy.

If you are interested in merchant navy then you have to appear the UPSC
entrance exams. But there are manny colleges, who conducts his own
entrance exams for merchant navy like IGNOU. If you get 60% marks in
PCM and english in 12th, then you will get a chance to get admission in
T.S. Chanakya. But you have to give joint entrance exams.

The candidate should pass 10+2 with 50 % in Physics ,Chemistry and Maths.There will be a medical test and the aspirant should have eyesight6/6.Those who wish to enter the engineering field should be a graduate in Nautical Science or do marine engineering and the selection is based on exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology after which there will be an interview and counselling.

Course available for merchant navy are:
GME for B.Tech aspirants
Deck Cadet for +2 ,Diploma and degree aspirants.Age varies according to their qualification.
B.Tech for +2 aspirants
MBA in Shipping Management.
And several short term courses like:
Fire and Preventative Measures and several 1-2 months courses.

Join GE institute you can do after your bsc degree and your post will be high as per many candidate joint from 10+2
