How many years it takes to became IAS officer??...please give me the details

What should i do from class 9th to become an IAS officer.I am scoreing above 90 percentage.Please give the answer.

You have asked me the information regarding duration to become IAS officer.

My answer is, there is no fixed duration for the candidate to become IAS officer. It depends upon the preparation levels and knowledge levels of the candidates.

I have seen some candidates who cracked civil services exam in first attempt itself and so many candidates who are trying to crack from 3-4 years.

So, your commitment and style of preparation will decide the duration that is required for you to become IAS officer.

However, here is the selection procedure to become IAS officer.

Civil Services Aptitude Test
Civil Services Main Exam
Interview

One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university in order to be eligible for this exam.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of Graduation can also be eligible to apply for this exam but they should be able to show the proof of passing in Graduation by the time they appear for Interview

Candidates of General category should be with the age 21-30 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category.

Before applying for this exam, just check yourself that whether you possess the above mentioned criteria or not.

Have good preparation for the exam and better if you have preparation from coaching institute.

First of all you choose this line that is so good .
age limit for ias examination...
.21-30 for general categories and have 4 attempts. in case of blind or handicap or obc you claim for relaxation of 3 year
note... your age will be add 1st august of the year of examination.
eligibility..
nationality-Indian
education.you must have a degree of graduation from recognizes university

After 10th you have to pass 6 or 7 for ias officer 2 year for 11 &12th then four year for your degree

For I.A.S officer you have to qualify the Civil services exam..

Civil services exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year...

Eligibility for Civil Services Exam:-
>> Pass graduation with any stream from recognized University.

>> Age limit is 21-30 year.
For ST/SC candidate 21-35 year.

> Only Indian Can apply in this exam.

There are three stage of selection:-
> Prelims Exam

> Mains Exam

> Interview

My b.com 3rd year exams are in may/june 2016 and i want to know in how many year , i became an ias officer. date of entrance exam and after how many time next level exam will be held and there next levels, upto last level and interview. Please give me full detail about total time taken for this.
