SSLC stands for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate. It means that you have scored 84% marks in 10+2 exam.

There are two ways through which you can join the Indian Army.

First Way: National Defense Academy entrance exam.

It is the entrance exam at 10+2 level which gives aspirant chance of joining Indian Army.

This entrance exam is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission.

Eligibility criteria:

>>10+2 paased or appearing from a recognized board can apply for the exam.

>>Age limit is 16.5 to 19.5 years with no age relaxation applicable to candidate of any category.

>>Unmarried male Indian citizens can only apply for the exam.

>>Physical and mental fitness is compulsory.

NDA exam consists of written test which contains questions from Mathematics of 10+2 level and second paper of General English, General awareness and science.

Second stage is Service Selection board.

The date of notification for NDA 2 will come on 20/06/2015 after that you can apply online at www.upsconline.nic.in.

Second way: Technical Entry Scheme

Since you have secured better marks in 10+2, you can directly appear for the Service selection board for becoming Indian Army officer at www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

Since you have passed the +2 examination with 84% marks . Now you can go for :-

1. NDA entrance examination conducted by UPSC twice every year . The eligibility criteria is candidates who have passed the class +2 with science stream or even commerce candidates who have mathematics as the main subjects can also apply .

The candidates age must be between 16.5-19 years .

Here you have to go with two procedure :-
Written .
SSB .

Candidates selected from the written examination are called for the SSB .

2. TES ( Technical Entry Scheme ) :-In this the candidates have to apply for it in the month of JULY on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in . Those candidates who have scored 70% marks can apply .
The then candidates are directly called for the SSB on the basis of cut off fixed by them .

So you can apply for both of them .

You can join Indian army probably in two ways after passing your senior secondary examination with 84 % marks .

First way of joining Indian army is by cracking national defense academy entrance examination for which you will have to have following qualifications given below :-

Your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years .

You must be an Indian unmarried male candidate .

You must have done your 12th from a recognized school/college .

You must be physically and mentally fit as per the requirement .

The examination is held in two stages which are written examination and Service Selection Board ( SSB ) interview for which you will be called if you go through the written examination .

The second way of joining Indian army is through Technical entry Scheme in which you will be called for SSB interview if your marks in the board examination lies within the cutoff of this scheme .

* Intermediate with 45% marks in any stream for Soldier Clerk
