How much marks required in mathematics for qualifying nda entrance exam? I want to know Marks required for Maths in nda.

NDA stands for the National Defence Academy and the examination is conducted by the UPSC twice every year.

The examination is conducted in the two stages as the written and the SSB. The written examination contains two paper. Paper I of the Mathematics and Paper II of the General Ability.

There is no separate cut off for each of the paper released by the UPSC. But as a common the candidates who solves about 35% of questions in each of the paper are selected for the next stage.

No, NDA exam doesn't require any marks criteria in Mathematics.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 mins

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

There is no minimum required percentage of marks to apply for NDA exam.

The criteria which has to be fulfilled to get admission in NDA are following:-

-The candidate has to clear the entrance exam conducted by UPSC.

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years.

-Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.

-The qualification required to join NDA is 12th class of 10+2 education system from a recognized board for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

A candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board. Science stream candidates have an upper edge in this exam.

Age criteria:

16.5-19.5 years for all candidates of general category.

Marital Status:

Candidate must be unmarried male.

Exam pattern has written test and Service Selection board. There is no such fixed marks out of 300 which you must score to pass the exam. General ability test is of 600 marks and total marks is of 900 marks, out of which if you score more than 350 marks and 35% in each subject, you can clear the written test.

NDA Exam was recently conducted on 27 September, 2015.

Every year UPSC conducts NDA Exam twice for young aspirants of Army, Navy and Air Force.

Anyone who meets following criteria below can apply for NDA Exam:

He must be unmarried male candidate.

He must have passed/appearing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as primary subjects.

If PCM subjects are not available, then non-PCM candidates can also apply but they will get Army wing only to join.

Age must be 16.5 to 19 years.

For qualifying NDA Exam, a candidate needs to qualify three stages:

Written Test

SSB

Medical

Written Test is the first stage of NDA Exam, and for qualifying this exam you have to score at least 40% marks in General Studies and at least 60% marks in Mathematics to qualify Written Exam.

NDA stands for the National Defence Service. Union Public Service Commission conducts entrance examination for this academy twice every year. The eligibility criteria is that candidate must be 10+2 passed or appearing, in the age limit 16.5-19.5 years and be unmarried male Indian citizen.

The entrance exam has written test followed by Service Selection board for those who qualify the written test. Written test is of 900 marks in which first paper is of Mathematics of 300 marks and 600 marks of General ability test.

For Air Force and navy you need 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or equivalent and for Army you need 12th in any discipline from recognized board or College . You can also apply for the exam while pursuing in 12th.

For NDA your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.
