For the indian services there is single exam for all the services it is up to the candidates in which field they want to go and opt for this services for example if more candidates are opting for IAS having high score in IAS main exam then there is the lower ranking candidates left they can be considered for IPS,IFS ETC. ......................

IPS --Indian Police Service, this exam conducted by UPSC Service.
preliminary exam marks are not consider in the ranking list. its only eligible on Main exam, totally 7 papers on this exams, you must scored on 70% marks in you main exam and your ranking on top150 pleases. |
