How much percentage is needed in 12th science and marks in NEET for doing Genetic Engineering? Also, let me know if I can join this course without NEET in any colleges in India or not.

To be eligible to get admission for pursuing Genetic Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as Genetics as a part of the Biology from a recognised board.
You need to appear and qualify the Engineering entrance examination conducted by the respective authority for getting admission in genetic engineering course.

You must have completed your 12th standard with minimum of 50% and relaxation of five percent is given to SC and ST students.

The Percentage needed in 12th for doing the Genetic Engineering:-

To take admission in a genetic engineering you need to pass 12th in Science with Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as genetic as part of the Biology with minimum 60 % .

Most Universities do not offer it as is special discipline such as a subsidiary in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biotechnology.
