Your salary package depend upon many things. I am giving here all the points in detail. Kindly go through the post :-

1. College:- You have not mentioned your college here, but a good college admission can result into a good salary. You can expect a good salary package from a reputed college. These college have tie ups with leading travel company as well as with the leading hotels so you have to ensure that your college should be of top class.

2. Skills :- Travel industry is an industry which demand a lot of interaction with people and if you are good at it then you job is half done. Your communication skills, Client handling capacity should be good. You have to improve your Skills to survive.

3. Knowledge:- If you have knowledge and grip over your subject then you can see yourself at a higher place easily.

4. Contacts :- Contacts do matter in these kinda cases so do meet new people and try to befriending with them. They will be of a sure help at a later stage.

Now coming to the salary part :-

Private:- In private your initial would be less but with experience you can get a salary out of your imagination too. For this you have to work really hard and think out of box.
You can expect a starting salary of 12000-20000 and upper salary is anywhere between 15-20 lacs

Government :- Though here offer are limited, You can get a starting salary of 25000 approax.
