Re: how to prepare for aieee?
Hi Connor,
There is very less time in AIEEE examination & a large no. of books for preparation. So you don't have much time to go through all the books. So in my opinion first of all you should clear your basics through NCERT books only by solving all the examples & excercises of each & every chapter. If you are done with that then buy a good guide from your local shop & also download sample papers from net & then practice them. I hope it's enough to get a good rank in AIEEE. Best of Luck. |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
Hi friend, try to have a thorough and deep knowledge of your 11th and 12th syllabus. Please take notes whenever you start preparing. These notes will help you in the last minute preparation. Go through the sample papers. If possible buy the question papers from the leading book publications and start solving them. So it is easy to get good ranks in this competitive exam. My best wishes for your success.
All the best. |

aieee is based on cbse syllabus......so even if you have done you 11 and 12 with every concept clear in you mind then you just need to brush up a bit and practice a lot of questions for getting familiar with the pattern of the exam.........you can also refer more books like arihant publications .........and befor giving the exam sit for a mock test at any of the private coaching classes ,....it helps a lot.......

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
First of all be relaxed.
start from the subject and topics in which you are good,it will bost your confidence, after been confident move towards the topics in which you face difficulties, take your grip on them. stop your preparation atleast one month before the exam, and give the whole period for mock tests. and last but not the least dont forget to follow the books of arihant and ncert. best of luck. |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
Ultimately for preparation of any exam, remember some points:
1) Always start from BASICS because "without base, there will be no altitude" and "journey of a thousand miles begin with single step". 2) Always BUILD UP RIGHT & APPROPRIATE BASICS because "once the track of train is being changed, it will go on only that track". So always select the right track. 3) Never prefer solutions of questions before doing SELF-ATTEMPT at least five times till you get the right answer because "without fall you can not stand at once". 4) Never leave the question in between. And I saw a lot of students practicing this question without attempting it whole, and it's a very big fault for students and even it becomes their negative point sometimes. So please ignore this thing. Because "many of life's failure are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up". |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
I should say that the basics are must for any entrance test .So whatever you read have depth knowledge about that.
Say for example if you preparing Projectile motion than after reading it please solve the questions which are asked in earlier papers this will help you a lot because it will guide which part is generally asked. Regarding the books first you will go through N.C.E.R.T's and ABC for physics, OP tondon for chemistry and RD sharma for Mathematics |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
Hai AIEEE applicant
First thing you should strong in basics of your subjects like Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics. For example : How many bonds of individual carbon atom is there when it is benzene ? Ans : 4 . It is basic one . Generally Carbon have four bonds if it is bonded with anything. Second thing you should work out more problems with different concepts. Its means that not how many problems you worked , how many concepts you learned is important. Main thing is you should prepared daily atleast of 1 hour for each subject , automatically it increase your total mark also. All the best . Success depends on your interest |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
since less time is left for d exam, its better to concentrate on the topics u r well familiar with.the bst way for preparation is just go through previous year exam papers and this will make u understand what kind of question carry more weightage and comes every year in d same format.
exam paper is always made of average difficulty where most of d questions are straight forward. also in order to complete the syllabus, students try to cover up all the topics but they dont have firm grip over all of them.so its better to know the important topics ,get it revised properly to have firm grip over it and it will make sure that u will solve any question coming from these topics.its also a good way to know ur limits in the exams which helps u not to go for any attempt to any unfamiliar questions thus averting u from making mistakes.(hence negative marking) lastly dont panic in last few days and dont go for new topics when few days are left for d exams just go fo revision of ur familiar topics and solve previous year exam papers so my frnd,if u can follow these steps i can assure u success coz its been personally applied in my life. BEST OF LUCK FOR THE EXAMS........... |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
i have been thinking about this since i passed through the examination and i will like to share some of my experience
1. do not run after coaching institutes. 2. pick up your own textbook or any refresher and try and understand how a problem is being solved. 3. consult your school teachers. 4. never quit till you are satisfied with a topic. 5. always look at some of the applicative part of what you have learnt. 6. try to relate it categorically and logically interpret the same. 7. try and keep the things as simple as they can be. 8. try and play with the problems. 9. practice makes you perfect, it can only be achieved if you understand the procedure of dealing with it. 10. never hesitate and leave a problem unsolved. wishing you good luck and sureshot sucess. for any other preparation tips do write to me bye..... |

hiiii, its quite easy.......first of all be thorough with the basics esp in math and physics......if you are confident enough you may try to solve problems from other books.....i prefer pradeep's objective physics & maths.....& dinesh's objective chemistry.
in maths calculus is the part u may come across a lot of questions i AIEEE so you must concentrate abit more on that......u should also be familiar with all the model papers & atleast the last 10 years AIEEE papers best of luck and bye |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
to prepare for aieee YOU HAVE TO EITHER TAKE COACHING AT GOOD INSTITUTE OR YOU CAN HAVE TO STUDY CONTINUOS AFTER YOUR 12TH EXAMS WILL FINISH.........GO THROUGH THE NCERT & ALSO TO SUBJECTIVE AND OBJECTIVE COMPETITION BOOKS...........AND YOU HAVE TO ALSO BUY TEN YEARS OF AIEEE SO THAT YOU CAN KNOW THAT WHICH TYPE OF QUESTIONS COME IN EXAM.........REMEMBER THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE TO ALSO STUDY THE PRACTICALS OF 11TH & 12TH, BECAUSE IN AIEEE QUESTIONS ARE ALSO ASKED FROM THE PRACTICALS..........

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
You need to attain minimum qualifying scores in subject. Thus, focusing on one subject and ignoring the other may land you in a hot soup. So, divide your time among the subjects more equitably.
Focus on solving the problems on your own, while preparing for the exam. Here is a step-by-step guide outlining the ideal process for solving a problem: Go through the concepts related to the problem once again and see how they can be applied to the problem in hand. Try to relate the problem to real-life situations. It will help you to analyze it better. Consult the solution, only when you have exhausted your limits. See, what you had missed earlier. and try to brush up ur concepts and best of luck |

Re: how to prepare for aieee?
The very first thing you should do is PLANNING your studies. For that you should prepare a time table illustrating which subject you should study on which date and at which time. Prepare the time table in a manner that you finish all the subjects two days prior to your exams.
Get up early in the morning and study, which will be stored in your memory very easily. Avoid late night studies. Best of Luck |
