What is the proper way for going to iit if I am in now 9th class ?

Today in the stiff competitiotn it is very good idea to start early as many of you people are doing.Prestigious IIT's don't ask anything from your 9th standard course but the coaching institute lets you enter the world of objective answering which makes your mind think differently.This gives you a edge over the other students.
