Re: How to prepare for JEE 2017? Books to be referred and weightage of 12th result?
JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and it is a common engineering entrance examination which is held by CBSE once every year for admission in Centrally Funded Institutes of Technology like IIT, NIT, IIIT, ISM, etc. for undergraduate technical courses like B.tech., B.Arch.,etc. .
JEE is conducted in two stages which includes JEE Main and JEE Advanced respectively. As far you are concerned about the weightage of Class 12th marks in deciding the overall rank list of JEE Main, then as per the new circular which will come into effect from JEE 2017 then there is no such weightage apart from the requirement of 60% aggregate in PCM in Class 12th for eligibility. For the preparation point of view, first of all you will have to be first prepare your self with the NCERT syllabus of Class 11th and Class 12th and then you must ready yourself with NCERT Exemplar. Apart from this as the questions are objective type, so you must try the objective problems by the Arihant Publication. Also, you must try application based question as in these type of competitive examination questions are application based. At last, you must try to solve last year paper to get well known with pattern and difficulty level of examination. For details about the same examination you must refer to the link www.jeemain.nic.in. |
