can you please tell me how to prepare for jipmer pg entrance test and pattern of question paper... which subjects should I stress more on????

JIPMER is the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research. Applicants should have MBBS degree passed from the institution recognized by medical council of India. They are also required to complete 12 months rotating intership.

JIPMER Exam Pattern
- Total Questions : 250 (Basic Clinical Sciences : 100 Q and Clinical Science Subject : 150 Q)
- Total Marks : 1000
- Exam Duration : 3 Hours
- Marks per Correct Answer : +4
- Negative Marks For Incorrect Answer : -1

Basic Clinical Sciences : 400 Marks
- Pharmacology
- Microbiology
- Forensic Medicine & Toxicology
- Anatomy
- Physiology
- Biochemistry and Pathology

Clinical Science Subject : 600 Marks
- Emergency Medicine
- Nuclear Medicine
- Surgery
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Pediatric
- Dermatology
- Opthalmology
- Anaesthesiology
- Psychiatry
- Radio-Therapy
- Radio-Diagnosis
- Orthopaedics
- Blood Transfusion Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine

JIPMER Preparation Tips
- Understand the exam syllabus and pattern very well before starting of preparation.
- Use standard reference books for preparation.
- Give at least 4 to 5 hours to daily studies.
- After completion of each topic, Prepare notew of important points. With the help of notes, You can revise that topics easily and quickly.
- Solve previous asked questions from prepared topic.
- Practice also plays important role in preparation.
