i want a complete preparation for scra so please tell me how should i study. and send me last five years exam papers of scra.

Here are the steps to prepare for the exam.

To prepare for General english you must try to make you knowledge in vocabulary large. For that try reading different english books and other recommended books which can help you with vocabulary

Next comes the General knowledge section. For that you must read a good general knowledge book. Try reading daily newspapers to keep yourself updated

dear friend scra is considered littlebit tougher as questions in physics,chem and maths are very close to iit level. so if you want to qualify this exam then prepare for iit and aieee .for english try to give stress on vocabulary and for g.k try reading some g.k book like-pratiyogita darpan. for previous year question papers with solution , march to your nearest book store.

Scheme of Examination:

The exam follows the plan mentioned below.
Part I is a written exam with a total of 600 marks.
Part II is a personality test of 200 marks. The candidates who qualify the written exam are called for the interview.

The subjects of Part I are provided below
Paper I is a General Ability Test which include English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test.
Paper II is a test of Physics and Chemistry.
Paper III is Mathematics.

The duration of all the papers is 2 hours and the maximum marks carried by each of the exam are 600.
The questions will be all multiple choice types and will be set in English only. The questions will be of the Intermediate Standard. The question will use SI units wherever necessary.

The commission has the full right to fix qualifying marks in all the subjects or any of the subjects. Candidates are required to clear the cut off marks to be eligible for the interview.

1. you need to have good command over physics, ahemistry and maths of class 12th standard.
2. you should read english newspaper, good english magazine and some good books related to general knowledge/ current affairrs for english and gs part.

To prepare for scra examination you need to study your 12 std mathematics and improve your command over english mainly language
and gk of 10 std and current affairs and physics and chamistry of 10 std of cbse board.
You will 100% succeed in scra exam.

Previous Year Question Papers of SCRA

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice and its exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC)

Age Requirements for SCRA :-

>> Should not be less than 17 years of age and should not exceed 21 years of age as on 1st August of the year in which appearing for the exam..

>> OBC candidates can appear till the age of 24 years..

>> SC/ST candidates have an upper age relaxation of 5 years..

Educational Qualifications :-

>> applicant should have cleared class 12th with Maths and at least one subject out of Physics and Chemistry..

>> graduates who have completed their bachelor's degree from a recognized institute with Maths and (Physics or Chemistry) are applicable..

>> No percentage restriction is there for appearing for the examination..

Examination Pattern :-

>> General Ability Test
>> Mathematics
>> Physical Science

Written test will have a total weightage of 600 marks..
