Re: How should I appear for Navy entrance exam? I have scored 53 marks in JEE mains
Sorry to say you that the JEE score are not valid for the Defence services. To join Navy which is one of the wings of Defence service at 10+2 level you have to qualify in the NDA examination which is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.
The candidates who have passed 10+2 from any recognized board with Mathematics and Physics as main subjects can apply. It is necessary that candidates age do not exceed greater than 19 years and less than 16.5 years. The examination is conducted in two stages as Written and SSB. Candidates have to qualify in both for final recruitment in Indian Navy. The application form are available in the month of January and July and examination are conducted in the April and September. So for any more details visit at www.upsc.gov.in. |
