how should i apply for upsc exam? am doing my B.Tech can i apply for upsc exam in final year or only after getting my degree i must apply?

As you are in final year of B-Tech course,then you can apply for UPSC exam.There are many exam conducted under UPSC,but you are eligible for 2-3 exam only,that are
>>Civil Service exam
>>Indian Engineering Service exam
>>Combined Defense Service exam

For this exams,your age should be between 21 to 30 years for civil service exam and Indian Engineering Service,for combined Defense Service your age should be 21 to 24 years.

Civil service exam notification will release on 2nd Feb 2013,closes on 4th March 2013 and exam will held on 19th May 2013.

Indian Engineering Service exam notification will release on 16th March 2013,closes on 15th April 2013 and exam will held on 28th June 2013.

Combined defense service exam notification will release twice in a month,CDS-I exam notification closed on 10th Dec 2012,exam going to held on 17th Feb 2013.CDS-II exam notification release on 25th May 2013,closes on 24th June 2013 and exam will held on 8th Sept 2013.

B.Tech graduates can apply for IES exam conducted by UPSC. Also they can try for CDS or CSAT. You can apply for these exams only after completing your B.Tech degree. Any candidate with required qualification can apply for UPSC exam. But they need to submit degree certificate at the time of interview.
