i am in bscit 5th sem.my secision is august, so please tell me can i able to appear to iit jam for mca ?

no only if you are in 6 th sem you can apply for those exams

To apply for admission to a desired programme, a candidate is required to qualify in the corresponding test paper and also satisfy the minimum educational qualifications and eligibility criteria of the academic programme.

The candidates who have either appeared or are due to appear in the final examination of their qualifying degree in 2010 are also eligible to appear in the test. On qualifying JAM 2010, such candidates can apply for provisional admission subject to the condition that: (i) all parts of their final examination shall be completed by the date of registration of the Admitting Institute, and (ii) proof of having passed the qualifying degree with required eligibility, as specified by the admitting institute will be submitted by 30th September 2010.

so dear that absolutely makes ou eligible to apply for the exams only if you are sure that your results will be out within the joining dates of IIT..bbye take care and good luck..

as there only six semester for the bsc IT course means you are in now in the final year,
so you are eligible for the iit jam examination,
because final year students are eligible for the this exam.

you can't appear for IIT JAM for MCA in 5th Semester BSC (IT).

the minimum criteria to attain IIT JAM for MCA is graduation in +12th science with math.

so after your BSC (IT) course, you can appear in IIT JAM exam.

i am in my final year of b.sc but i have ER in my second year ....can applicable for the jam test

the minimum educational qualification required for iit jam is four semesters of the subject. so can't a fourth semester student write the exam?

Yes,you can sit for jam exam if you in the last year/semester of your b.sc course or passed the same.
