i want to join Intellegence Bureau.
i'm a B.sc.comp.sci graduate i want to know their syllabus and qualification required.

last week i have already sent application for the post of Assistant Intellegence Bureau grade II officer post ( NON-Gazzetted)

Please advice me

ya,if you have been completed Graduation from any recognized University or Equivalent then you can give Intelligence Bureau Examination.

now syllabus for INTELLIGENCE BUREAU:

Paper I:Paper I is Objective type containing questions on

a. General Knowledge
b. Arithmetic
c. English Language

Paper II:Paper II us Descriptive type consisting of:

a. Essay
b. Precis writing

yes of course can join (ib).

the entrance is not a tough one,you only key for cracking it is just groom your basic arihtmatic and english basic knowledge,g.k. is not tough one.

and apply logic you will be able to tackle the questions.

nothing to worry.

if you really wanna qualify the paper ,so you have to put your efforts in three sections Aptitude,englist and general awareness.For apti.solve RS Agrwal,for english solve RS agrwal reasoning book, and do read new paper daily.all the best

the question papers consists of general awareness which you can prepare from TMH publication book,
the aptitude from time material
English from barrons gre

for joining Intelligence Bureau you must have strong in aptitude ,english , and general awareness.read more and more reasoning questions and put your strong efforts

if you want to join in intelligence bureau than you take right decision for your life..
if you want to crack the exam of I B than...
you should have good knowledge in general knowledge....
and in English..
so carry on to improve those things..

for joining Intellegence Bureau you have to qualifiying graduation with good marks and your age is between 18-25 years and chest 32'(+2"). written test is conducted on the basis of english and gk.

this is very good decision for you
just prepare yourself for this exam...
concentrate on aptitude,english ,GA For aptitude solve RS Agrwal,see TMH books..
read regular news paper like THE HINDU,THE STATEMENT,the times of india...

Hello friend,
The minimum qualification to join Intelligence bureau is a bachelors degree from a recognised university.

The maximum age to qualify for the exam is 27 years, with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
The selection is made through written examination and interview.

Syllabus of the recruitment exam
Paper I: Objective type

a. General Knowledge
b. Arithmetic
c. English Language

Paper II: Descriptive type

a. Essay
b. Precis writing
After securing the minimum marks, the candidates are called for an interview.

The entrance is not a tough.there is some basic arihtmatic and english basic knowledge,g.k.,analytical and verbal resoning.

just practice and make short time to answer.

I want to join intelligence bureau.(Dream job) My qualification is doctorate in Chemical Engg.Earning a salary with AGP Rs.8000 with a total emoluments of Rs 42000.I want a equal category in the dept.Usually there are no recruitments at this category.Why?
