IAS stands for the Indian Administrative services.The examination which is conducted for this service is called Civil services examinations.

For this exam,you should have minimum of bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.Your age should be between 21-30 years.you must be an Indian citizen.

Civil services examinations consists of three stages which are as below:

1.Preliminary test or it is called Civil Services Aptitude test.

2.Main examination.

3.Personal interview.

You have asked for the previous year papers of the Preliminary examinations ,do not worry I will provide you that .Preliminary test consists of two papers of 200 marks each.

The important topics and paper pattern of preliminary exam is :

The online registrations for CSE 2013 are going on ,you can apply for it on www.upsconline.nic.in .the last date of receiving application is 04/04/2013.The preliminary exam will be held on 26/05/2013.

Note: I have attached the previous year preliminary papers of 2012.
