If a student is born in USA with USA nationality then is he/she is eligible for Maharashtra Quota for Engineering College?


My daughter is born in USA and we moved to India.

In her School Leaving Certificate, school has mentioned USA born and USA nationality. We were here for more than ten years and got Domicile certificate from Tehsildar office.

Now I would like to know, how the Engineering authority will look into it? whether we are qualify for Maharashtra quota for Engineering college?

Hello Sir,

Why dont you try to get Engg seat in NRI quota.
There will be some difference in fee structure for NRI and Non NRI. But you dont have any other way to get your daughter in Engg college.
