Respected Sir, I am an international student who want to join the PhD program in Economics from VIT. Could you please give me the information regarding the following issues?
1. How long it takes to complete the PhD program in Economics?
2. Is it a research degree or are there pre-enrollment papers(courses) given?
3. If so what are the type of papers (courses)?
4. For how long papers (courses) are given?

VIT university is recognized by the UGC act 1956.
It was established to provide quality education to the students of all over the word. There are also good facility to provide education to NRI's.
The institution contain 19 undergraduate courses, 34 post graduate courses, 2 integrated courses and 4 research program.

PHD is a graduate program.
It is a 4-6 years course program.

1-2 year - Competence in econometric.
