If you want to become an Income Tax officer, you should clear the written examination which is conducted as part of the selection criteria. This exam is conducted by SSC. You can be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. You need to be at least 18- 27 years of age. If you clear the written exam, you can attend the personal interview.
