To join as a Sub Inspector in the Andhra Pradesh Police department following minimum physical standard is required

Height - 167.6 cm
Chest - 86.3 cm / with 5% expansion
Weight should be proportionate to height.

The Age limit to appply for the post is 21 years to 25 years/ 5%relaxation for OBC and Sc/St candidates.

The Written Exam comprises of 4 papers
English
Telgu
Mental Ability
General Studies

Minimum of 40% marks is required to qualify the exam for general candidates, whereas for Backward Class 35% and for Sc/St 30% is minimum qualifying marks.
