To get into TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) as a Software Engineer , you must posses a minimum of Bachelor Degree with Good Software Technology Knowledge.

Recruitment Procedure

It involves :

1. Aptitude Test (checks Numerical , data interpretation Abilities)
2. Group Discussion
3. Technical Interview
4. Personal Interview

You must have good knowledge of any one of these technology :

• Java
• C
• C++
• .Net Framework

Also , you must know your Minor and Major projects very well.

INFORMATION ABOUT TCS PLACEMENTS

The eligibility criteria needed to apply for TCS in campus placement is as follows,


-> 60% above in 10th,12th & Graduation.

-> No current arrears. ( Backlog upto 2 are accpeted in some of the colleges which lies in the top tier ).

-> Good communication and Technical skills.

-> Maximum of 2 years study gap.



-> You have to register yourself in TCS portal to attend the TCS placement in https://nextstep.tcs.com/

-> There will be basically 3 important rounds conducted for TCS which as follows..



-> Aptitude Test.

-> Technical Interview.

-> HR Interview.


-> There will be 35 questions to attend in 1hr 20mins. You can practice the model test which is available in the TCS Openseesame portal which you can access once you register in the nextstep of TCS.

-> There will be 1/3 negative marking for every wrong answer, so take your time and attend only the questions which you are sure with the solution.

-> If you can clear the interview then for sure you can easily clear the next two rounds..

-> To prepare for Technical interview, you have to be good in your course basics. Try to revise all the subjects which you studied form your 2nd year of course that will be more than enough.

-> To prepare for HR interview, you have to confident and communicate clearly. If you can do that then you can easily clear this round.

-> Put 80% of time to prepare for the first aptitude round and rest for preparing the interviews then for sure you can clear TCS placement

TCS i.e. Tata Consultancy Services is very good or giant company now a days. It has changed its question Pattern.Now only mathematical portion will be there, no verbal portion is there.Before TCS came to your college they sent to your college Training & Placement cell a sample paper is sent by them. You have to follow this sample question paper. According to this the online aptitude question will come.So you have to practice it very well.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR T.C.S. :

1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

I. Graduation/Post Graduation : at least have 60% of marks
II. 10+2th standard : at least have 60% of marks
III. 10 th standard : at least have 60% of marks

2. AGE :

age of a candidate should be between 22 to 35 years. Experienced candidate are preferred more than the freshers. But fresher candidates also hired by this company.

3. There should not be more than 2 years educational gaps in the candidate's carrier.

4. There should not be any backlogs.

If you have above 1 years experience then you can processed direct interview.

The process for TCS-
1)Written Test
2)Technical +HR

Only Fresher candidate are applicable for On-Campus.But your academic marks must above 60% in through out career.Candidate have not any pending Backlog in the of recruitment processs.
