IES stands for the Indian Engineering Services. It is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission once every year.

Eligibility criteria:

>> Any candidate who has done bachelor's degree in technology or engineering from a recognized university can apply for the exam.

>> Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

>>The age limit for candidates of general category is 21-30 years and for OBC and SC/ST category candidates there is upper age relaxation of three and five years respectively.

There is no limit on number of attempts for candidates of any category.

Examination pattern:

>>General ability test of 200 marks.

>>Objective Paper I and II of your stream

>>Conventional paper I and II of your stream.

>>Interview.

Examination is conducted for four streams only:

Civil Engineering

Mechanical engineering

Electrical engineering

Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The best institute for preparation of Indian Engineering Services is the MADE EASY with different centers throughout India with success rate.
