sir .,
iam a class 12 student and i want to write the isro exam for joining in isro.
so waht should i do?

iist will conduct it for admission to its different engineering branches after completion of which you will be appointed as a scientist of ISRO.

You can join ISRO by first doing a course at IIST which is the gateway for joining isro.

you will have to appear for isat exam conducted by isro.....then if you pass ,they will provide you institute for graduation and after that you will be working as junior scientist in your field......visit http://iist.ac.in for more details...........

the dates for exam conducted by ISRO is already passed away for 2009,you have to wait for 2010 exam dates to join it.

Pls tell me how to prepare for exam of assitants in isro

The much better way is to join a good coaching for it,they will guide you in a proper way.

However,you can prepare for it yourself also,keep your basic concept of the syllabus clear,opt for books of Tata mcgrawhill,upkar prakashan,competetive science vision of pratyogita darpan like books for prepareing for it.

and do self study side by side that is must

study with the consult of a teacher is the best for joining isro .some institute do crash course join them just before your exams....

for joing in isro after 12th you have to give an entrance exam IIST which is organised by isro its self.after qualifying you can get admission in ISRO for the diffent branch of engineering.

Admissions to the undergraduate courses at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is made on the basis of a candidate's rank in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by IITs. In other places, candidates with B.Sc., M.Sc., B.E., M.E. or Ph.D. are usually selected. There is no university in India, which offers an undergraduate programme in Astronomy. At the Master's and Ph.D levels, there are several options.

see in 12th standard,there is nothing you can pick to get into isro.
indian space resarch o rganisation takes 3 departments for its scientist level posts.
They are cs,mechanical and ece.
After completing your engg. ,you can go through their entrance you could join isro

Appear for ISAT exam or you can do Btech after Graduation also you can appear for exams conducted by ISRO each year

As your subjects in pg is MSc in Physics you can definetily app3ear for ISAT exams. ISRO also carry outs its own recruitment from time to time keep watching employment news for it.

You can join the ISRO only after appearing for the IIST exam conducted by the ISRO..

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology IIST, Asia's first Space University and IIST applications are invited for admission to the Ph.D. Program starting in February, 2010 ..

The application form are available for the following programs:
areas of Aerospace Engineering, Avionics, Chemistry, Earth and Space Sciences, Mathematics and Physics.

But the eligibility criteria for the IIST exam is that you must be a master's degree holder and Age Limit is that you must be below 28 years as on 01 January, 2010.

you have to give ISAT entrance exam for joining ISRO.they conduct the exam and based on the results you can directly join there as a scientist.

yes, if you want to build your career in space science and join isro it would be better for you to sit in the exams conducted by isro from time to time

Eligibility for Isro Exam 2011:
•BE/B.Tech or equivalent in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters for which results are available). Candidates who are slated to complete the BE/B.Tech course in the academic year 2010-11 are also eligible to apply provided final Degree is available by 31.8.2011

Age Limit:
•35 years as on 28-02-2011 (40 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 38 years for OBC candidates, Ex-serviceman and Persons with Disabilities[PWD] are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders).

Exams will be conducted by ISRO itself. You must be good with the basic concepts in electronics and communication subjects. Normally communication paper are most important. Always this will takes place during III week of april every year.

I applied for technical assistant post in sdhc shar Isro shriharikota after my diploma ( e&c) result annonced.now dey sent call letter for written test but now the problem is I am student stidying in B.E 4th sem ,so if I selected then I hve to drop my studies ..which one is good either to join Isro to continue engineering degree please suggest me..and if I join isro is their any possibilities to complete degree
